Prolog

An Asian girl stood before the Empress. Two silver and black wolf ears pointed above her head. Her hands were claw like, and twitched, as if they wished for swords to slice the Empress Lupa in half with.
The empress growled. “You may have your old grudges, Samurai but you have no help from your friend. Lightning never strikes twice.”
There was a black flash beside the Asian girl and a girl in dark pants and a dark shirt landed beside wolf-girl. Two black and white cat ears poked through her face mask.
“Apparently, lightning does strike twice.” She said.
The Empress’ golden-brown eyes flickered from the newcomer and back to her enemy. “You have surprised me Neko. I did not think you would have the courage to come and help your friend here. Not in my kingdom.”
Neko snorted lightly. “I will fight any that shelter the man that killed my father, Wolf. You think it was coincidence I helped Inu from that sticky spot last year, with Lycaon? I didn’t simply happen to be passing by when I saw Lycaon attacking her. I was tracking Scourge. The Scourge that killed my father, the Scourge that tried to take over my forest for the ‘greater good’. The same Scourge is working for you now.”
The Empress’ slit-pupil eyes narrowed. “Had I known Scourge had such a history I may not have employed him.”
Inu smiled. She snapped her fingers and twin Katanas appeared in them. “Perhaps you lie, perhaps not. Either way you will not anymore soon. Come Neko Ninja, my friend. Let us rid the world of these two traitors to our kind.”
